Waking Up To Who You Really Are

Waking Up To Who You Really Are

God said: “Let us make human beings in our image, creating them to reflect our nature” When you think about being flexible, what do you think of first? Which aspects of being flexible are important, which are essential, and which ones can you take or leave? You be the judge… Then wake up to Who You Really Are.

In each of our lives, there will be times of joy and times of sorrow. In pain, we are born. In pain, we leave this world. Somewhere in the midst of living, growing, and understanding life, we find ourselves seeking to find who we were born to be. Innocence is precious and we might for a time lose innocence, but life is too large to embrace fully with the innocence of mind and heart.

Your true identity, who you really are, is revealed the moment you realize life is beyond your control, your ability to perceive, and your emotional capacity to feel. It is here where you begin to realize that life is beyond your control then we open our hearts and minds to something greater than ourselves. Our ego finds its proper place in our lives and we shift from being the central core of life’s existence and begin to focus our attention on something much greater. At this point, you begin to place your life, your heart, your mind, and your soul into the very ONE WHO created you and wake up to who you really are.

I trust that what you’ve read so far has been informative. The following section should go a long way toward clearing up any uncertainty that may remain.

This movement from self-centered awareness to God-centered awareness allows us to perceive and have revealed to us information greater than what we know life to be to what can be known through us. Here, we become conduits of life, instead of life having to go our way. This level of knowing creates a 6th sense, a super sense of awareness, an awareness in God consciousness. We become more spirit than body at this point. We become the awareness that brought us into this world. We become spiritual beings having a human experience. We become who we’ve always been, who we really are, the offspring of God, made in HIS IMAGE and LIKENESS. SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED and CREATED to be OVERCOMERS in THIS LIFE.

When we remember who we really are…… We ‘re-member’ ourselves back into the spiritual awareness we had at birth- OUR BIRTHRIGHT. This awareness is with us always. We sometimes forget who we really are because we forget WHOSE we are. But, when we ‘re – member’ who we really are we reconnect ourselves into the sense of knowing that we go through life to BECOME and to represent HIS LIFE in the earth. Through it all, our soul (mind, will, emotions), are in process of maturing and in process of remembering. With this in mind, our ups and our downs find consolation in our essence, in who we really are – strong in our spirit.

Now might be a good time to write down the main points covered above. The act of putting it down on paper will help you remember who you really are and what’s important and necessary about growing spiritually.
